Thank you to all of you who made it out to our shows last Wednesday and Friday! We loved seeing you all and appreciate your support. We are pleased to announce that we made it to the finals in the band competition "Last Band Standing" held at Nait's own Nest Lounge. Check out our shows page for dates and times of the finals and any other upcoming concert dates. We are also fighting for a spot on the Kokannee Free Ride, put on by the Urban Lounge that event is coming up within 2 days. Hope to see you there!!! Check back often as we will have new concert dates posted for the spring and summer as well as some video footage of some of our latest performances. Ladies and Gents it has been a long while since we have had some news to share. So we thought we would finally do a few shows this month so we had something to talk about. Check out our Shows section to find out where we are shaking the foundations. Hopefully everyones New Year got off to a great start. Things are motoring along for us. Even though we have not found a permanent drummer we have been writing some fantastic new tunes with our buddy Dan Jean filling in on the skins. Come on out to our upcoming shows and you will get to meet good ol' Dan....Maybe you could bend his ear a bit and convince him to stick with the band LOL....Sorry Dan we never give up until you say yes ha ha ha. So folks we played out in our home away from home of Dewberry on Halloween weekend and we had a blast as always. They treat us like gold and sure know how to party. Check out some of the photos from that weekend. Some live shots will be posted in the next few days as well.

DeSousa Drive has Vic's longtime friend and drummer from the Sweet Alibi Days (Dan Jean) currently filling in on the drums. Things are going well musically, who knows if things keep going as well as they have been maybe Dan will decide to become permanent.

Hello, hope you all are doing well this fine sunny day. As of Friday July 20,2007 James Babcock is no longer with DeSousa Drive. We wish James all the best in his new musical adventures and we look forward to seeing him pound the skins and entertaining in and around Edmonton in the near future. Thanks for your past contributions James.

We had a GREAT gig at Honest Mur's on Whyte, what a fantastic crowd and the staff we wonderful as well. If anyone got any pics, could you email them to me? vic@desousadrive.com I would like to get a few up on the site if there are any out there. Thanks to all the people who bought CD's and thanks again to the staff at Mur's for a great night! I will be getting a bunch more pics from our tour across the country and some vids up on Youtube over the weekend.

Just finished the gig up in High Prairie after a nearly 20hr drive directly from our gig in Winnipeg. Put up a few pictures on the photos page, will update with a TON more once we are back on home base.

Drove as far as Saskatoon yesterday! James did all the driving, having been awake for only two days he was in good shape! We got posters done up and shamelessly blanketed the town with them for our upcoming gig at Buds on Broadway. We stayed at a friend of Victors, GREAT people.......it's good to have friends. Driving on to Winnipeg today, we will no doubt get a few pics and videos up over the next day or two.........great fun. Hehehehe.

More shows added! We had a GREAT time in Dewberry, what a great place to play. The staff are fantastic and the patrons are a lot of fun. We will be playing there this fall for their Halloween party again as well! As soon as I can get to stuff off of Kirk's phone we will have some SWEET footage of Kris singing some Whitney Houston in the shower. OH MAN this tour in June is gonna be a good time, haha!
