our single "Blind" got added to 2 more stations in Quebec and another in Ontario we will list them here in the next couple of days. If you know of any friends or family in those areas, please get them to call and request us. If you listen to any of the stations on-line please give them a call and request us. We would also like to ask all of our friends, family and Fans in the Edmonton and surrounding areas to call your local radio station to request our first single "Blind" if you request it enough they may just go ahead and add the song to their playlist. Basically we are asking everyone to please help us get more radio play ha ha ha ha..............We have also posted an upcoming show! There will be more updates soon. Hey Guys and Dolls! Welcome back. D-Drive has some photos just posted. It shows us jamming and creating masterpeices in our rehearsal studio while Kirk was galavanting and getting drunk in Jamaica!!! We will try to get some pics of him on his trip if he will let us. Apparently he was only sober for like 5 minutes of the trip!! Way to go Kirk! Living the dream man, Livin the dream!! We have a big show coming up at the Starlite Room shortly after Christmas. Come spread the yuletide joy with us in Rock n Roll fashion! Hey Friends! If you have not had a chance yet? Check out our video clip click here. We test drove one of our new tunes at the Urban lounge in October. We have not yet recorded or played it live ....well until now that is. It is called "drowning". Let us know what you think. The Handy camera work was recorded by our good friend Kevin at the Urban Lounge ....... Thanks Kevin....... Keep checking back as we will be posting some more videos for you to enjoy. We are in the midst of compiling them right now. Some old, some new. At any rate it will be stuff you have not yet seen....... ROCKSTAR COLLEGE!!!! Our Long awaited EP has been ordered and is being manufactured at the CD plant as you read this. I know it has been in the works a long time. I am pleased to say that even though it took this long, at least we did not delay it as much as Axl's GnR album Chinese Democracy! Peace!

Hey Guys and Dolls, We had a rocking show with September Stone and PRND at The Velvet Underground on September 5th. It was great seeing everyone out there that made it. Once we have the pictures and Video footage ready, we will post it for y'all to see. PRND and September Stone Kicked ass as usual. As for the DD gang. Our New Drummer Jordan brought the Thunder on the drums, Kris wowed the audience with his behind the head antics and Kirk thumped the audience with the Bass wizardry. Hello all. We are pleased to announce that DeSousa Drive has found a permanent Drummer! His name is JORDAN he is a fantastic drummer that has been playing since age 5, he is only 10 now but we will get him fake ID to play in the bars.....LOL we kid!!!! No he is of majority age but has been playing since age 5 and yes he is fantastic.....and as Kris puts it, he is a Basher!!!!! He likes to hit those drums hard. Come back often and be on the look out for news and changes on the site....because there will be shows on the horizon and alot of things to look forward to now that DESOUSA DRIVE HAS A DRUMMER!! Thank you to all of you who made it out to our shows last Wednesday and Friday! We loved seeing you all and appreciate your support. We are pleased to announce that we made it to the finals in the band competition "Last Band Standing" held at Nait's own Nest Lounge. Check out our shows page for dates and times of the finals and any other upcoming concert dates. We are also fighting for a spot on the Kokannee Free Ride, put on by the Urban Lounge that event is coming up within 2 days. Hope to see you there!!! Ladies and Gents it has been a long while since we have had some news to share. So we thought we would finally do a few shows this month so we had something to talk about. Check out our Shows section to find out where we are shaking the foundations. Hopefully everyones New Year got off to a great start. Things are motoring along for us. Even though we have not found a permanent drummer we have been writing some fantastic new tunes with our buddy Dan Jean filling in on the skins. Come on out to our upcoming shows and you will get to meet good ol' Dan....Maybe you could bend his ear a bit and convince him to stick with the band LOL....Sorry Dan we never give up until you say yes ha ha ha. DeSousa Drive has Vic's longtime friend and drummer from the Sweet Alibi Days (Dan Jean) currently filling in on the drums. Things are going well musically, who knows if things keep going as well as they have been maybe Dan will decide to become permanent.

We had a GREAT gig at Honest Mur's on Whyte, what a fantastic crowd and the staff we wonderful as well. If anyone got any pics, could you email them to me? vic@desousadrive.com I would like to get a few up on the site if there are any out there. Thanks to all the people who bought CD's and thanks again to the staff at Mur's for a great night! I will be getting a bunch more pics from our tour across the country and some vids up on Youtube over the weekend.

Just finished the gig up in High Prairie after a nearly 20hr drive directly from our gig in Winnipeg. Put up a few pictures on the photos page, will update with a TON more once we are back on home base.

Drove as far as Saskatoon yesterday! James did all the driving, having been awake for only two days he was in good shape! We got posters done up and shamelessly blanketed the town with them for our upcoming gig at Buds on Broadway. We stayed at a friend of Victors, GREAT people.......it's good to have friends. Driving on to Winnipeg today, we will no doubt get a few pics and videos up over the next day or two.........great fun. Hehehehe.

More shows added! We had a GREAT time in Dewberry, what a great place to play. The staff are fantastic and the patrons are a lot of fun. We will be playing there this fall for their Halloween party again as well! As soon as I can get to stuff off of Kirk's phone we will have some SWEET footage of Kris singing some Whitney Houston in the shower. OH MAN this tour in June is gonna be a good time, haha!
